Display of advertising material
The Society does not sell advertising, and there is no information on this website which is there because it is paid for by somebody else (an advertisement), with one possible exception – some YouTube videos are now “embedded” on the Podcasts and Videos pages. These videos will appear as if they were on this website, but are hosted on YouTube servers, and may display some advertising, as they would if they were watched on YouTube directly.
Visitors to the site may ask to be put on an e-mail mailing list in order to be kept informed about Society events. This is done by means of a small module on the web page, filling in a name and email address on a small form, and clicking on a button.
